Terms of Use

JOY by Mureli · Effective 25 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Andrii Murko, a private individual based in Poland who develops and publishes JOY by Mureli (“JOY”, “the app”, “we”). By creating an account or using JOY you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who can use JOY

You must be at least 13 years old. In the European Economic Area, if you are under 16 (or the lower age set by your country), you need a parent’s or guardian’s consent. If you use JOY on behalf of someone else, you must have their permission.

2. Your account

3. What JOY is — and is not

JOY suggests small activities — to relax, move, create, explore and look after yourself — one at a time. The tasks are ideas, not instructions.

4. Daily limits, ads and extra tries

5. Fair use

Please do not:

If you do, we may suspend or close your account.

6. Content and ownership

The app, its design, the task library and all other content belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use JOY for your own non-commercial purposes under these terms and the App Store rules. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely.

7. Your privacy

How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Changes and availability

We work to keep JOY running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may update, change or discontinue features. If we change these terms in a significant way, we will tell you by email or in the app before the changes apply; continuing to use JOY afterwards means you accept them.

9. Ending the agreement

You can stop using JOY and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we stop offering the app, in which case we will try to tell you in advance.

10. Liability

JOY is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for injury, damage or loss arising from how you choose to carry out a task. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence — or your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Apple App Store

If you got JOY from the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claims relating to it — including product liability, failure to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection, or intellectual-property claims. To the extent allowed by law, Apple has no warranty obligation for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You also agree to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement; where it conflicts with these terms on how you may use the app, these terms apply as far as permitted. You confirm you are not in a country under a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Poland. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts. Before going to court, please write to us — most issues can be solved by email.
